70 of the 76 college sports do not generate enough revenue to pay for T.V. exposure, so many of these sports depend on television money generated from Division I basketball of college basketball to gain national exposure. Golf is one of them.

Golf could pay their way, but the NCAA did not want golfers looking like walking logos for sponsors. So the NCAA has decided to tightly limit the amount of commercialism that can be on display.

Justin Leonard failed to sign his scorecard at the NCAA tournament, and his score was disqualified.

Leonard's pro coach says that Justin "has the work ethic of Kite, but he also has a feel for the game of Crenshaw." Justin says his significant strengths are consistency and mental toughness.

Justin Leonard is the first Freshman since Lance Ten Broeck was the SWC medalist in 1975. Jean-Paul Hebert was second.

Cameron Greenwood broke all the rules that many follow to play good golf. Cameron's first loves in high school were hunting, football, and basketball. As a result, he played very little golf until he reached college.
