2007 women’s tennis – Horns are #19 down from #3 in 2006 – Horns beat UC-Irvine 4-0 in the first round of the NCAA tennis championships.
2007-2008- 17-8 Ranked 23rd Coach Patty Fendick-McCain Pending
The Horns lost to Baylor in the Big 12 championship and to Pepperdine in the NCAA Tournament. Vanja Corivic led the team to the Big 12 championship.

One year and done- Coach McNamara resigns – UT posted a 10-11 mark during the 2015 spring dual-match season, including a 6-3 record in Big 12 Conference play.
Team qualifies for 2nd round but loses to Virginia.
2016 to present – coach Howard Joffe
“There’s a tradition of excellence within the women’s tennis program here, not only in having won national and conference titles, but also in producing very fine athletes and students,” Joffe said upon his hire. “I’m cognizant of the charge and the responsibility, but I’m very confident that I’ll be able to work with the student-athletes and the administration to continue that tradition of excellence.”
“We’re extremely pleased to land a coach of Howard’s character and caliber,” UT Women’s Athletics Director Chris Plonsky said upon Joffe’s hire. “He is a proven winner. Howard was a very competitive student-athlete himself. He was mentored by an exceptional coach, and after pursuing coaching himself, he has found it to be a perfect landscape for him. He’s driven to excellence, cares about his student-athletes and is inspired by the combination of an institution with academic excellence and high goals for championship performance.”
Courtney Dolehide is A former All-America tennis player at UCLA. Dolehide assumed her position at Texas in January of 2015 and was retained by first-year Texas head coach Howard Joffe upon his hiring in June of 2015.
