Mike Cambell
Mike Campbell is in the hospice section, and his arm is fine now. Courtney and I went on the 4th of July for a big luncheon they were hosting for the family. He is so bad now that he has to always be fed. It took me forever to cut up and feed him his hamburger. It upset Courtney so much she had to go to the bathroom and cry. We were so upset that we didn’t even eat. He doesn’t talk at all, and the last time they weighed him, he was 154 lbs. They will weigh him again this week cause I can tell he’s lost more weight. Hospice is slowly weaning him off his meds except for his Parkinson’s meds. It will take about 3 weeks so I’m hoping he will get better after being off a lot of the meds. I’m going to take a case of protein drinks to him to start taking. When I rub his back all I feel are his spinal bones. Courtney and I cried all the way home. It seems once they moved him to memory care he’s really gone down. The dementia is so much worse. He even asked if I talked to Steve Niles lately and that was before he moved.
Please send this text to Billy Ed and everyone else as I told him that I would keep everyone updated on his situation. He stays in the wheelchair all the time except when they put him on the sofa and to bed. Please share this with everyone.
