This Special Edition focuses on Steve McMichael’s health starting on April 25, 2021.

Some thoughts for a Steve McMichael fan.

“Dearest Mr. Steve Mongo McMichael,

Please allow me the honor of introducing myself so that I can establish the smallest of credibility to be able to speak to a titan and legend like yourself

I was a college football player and used to be able to benchpress 430 pounds for two reps, clean 375 pounds for three reps and squats 625 pounds for one rep.

I got paralyzed during college football game.

After that, I did not have one day of being down or depressed. I went to work.

I became a patient advocate and passed five California laws, including the Roman Reed spinal injury research act three times and the California Institute of regenerative medicine two times

And even went to Alabama and passed my stem cell law.

Only saying this to be able to have the honor to be able to speak to you, sir

Your 46 defense was absolutely inspiring and you were the main cog in the middle. Defensive tackles are not supposed to rush as awesome as you did.  And defensive tackles are not people who can take over a game like you did.

Nobody and nothing can ever take that away from you.

The only reason that I say how strong I was that, I think I would have lasted maybe five seconds longer than any stud could last against you in a fight.  You would have put me down in a fight and that is something that I would eagerly admit, although I would say that to basically almost nobody else.

I just wanted to have a moment of your time so that I could have this moment of time forever as inspiration as I fight onwards and upwards for CURES.

Our brother David Bales can tell you more

I pray for you and I am thankful for you and I recognize what a legend and a titan and a Hall of Famer you are on the football field and in life.

Sincerely yours humbly,

Roman Reed
