 BILL’S OBITUARY

Bill Hinkle passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Austin, Texas. He was born in Denton, Texas to Dr. George and Kenneth Hinkle. Bill was an entrepreneur developing financial processing systems, an avid fly fisherman, and tennis player. Bill grew up in Denton, attended college at the University of Texas where he was a Texas Cowboy and a member of DKE (DELTA KAPPA EPSILON). He then graduated with his Masters from Stanford. He lived in New york, New York, raised his daughter Kelly in Denver, Colorado (being a father figure to many), then returned to Austin in 2016. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dr. Dan C. Hinkle, and daughter Joy Elizabeth Hinkle.

Bill is survived by his Daughter Kelly Hinkle Erdmann, Son in Law Jerrod, former Wife Cathryn Muirhead Hinkle, Nephews, and Neice Brooks, Curt, and Suzanne Hinkle. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021, at DeBerry Funeral Directors with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Park.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Hinkle in Austin, Texas, born in Denton, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. George and Kenneth Hinkle; his brother Dr. Dan C. Hinkle; and his daughter Joy Elizabeth Hinkle. He is survived by : his daughter Kelly Hinkle Erdmann; and his son-in-law Jerrod (Cathryn Muirhead Hinkle).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Deberry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201).
