1) Joshua Yeoman, son of Longhorn football player Gary Yeoman, has passed away. A tribute to this young man is in the Que.

2) During lunch with Robert Brewer last month, I asked him to share his walk-on story on the TLSN Longhorn sports historical site, and he agreed. Robert did not receive a division I scholarship offer, but one of his high school coaches takes control of his destiny and playing for Texas is one of them. Robert’s whole story is in the Que.

3) Tyres says “Billy, please tell everyone I really appreciate the help. The peace of mind from the help received can not be measured.” TLSN has $12,000 in the bank account and has authorized a grant of $10,000 to help Tyres. The mission of TLSN is to help qualifying former Longhorn student athletes, managers, trainers, and their immediate families. TLSN is a tax exempt 501 (c) (3). The organization needs a steady flow of donations in order to help qualifying Longhorns. There is a donate button on the website and all donations are appreciated.
