Teapots, Stark Center , Health watch , Hattori, Bauerschlag, and CTE

After one of Coach Abe Lemons friends, Frank Glieber, died of a massive heart attack while jogging, Coach said “I don’t jog. If I die, I want to be sick.”

The Stark Center contains a Library, Archive, and Museum, and It is now also the temporary home for the Greg Ploetz lithograph (see the photo below). As of 03/20/2020, there are 285 autographs of former DKR student-athletes, managers, trainers, and Coaches on this artwork.

However, there are still many who qualify whose names are still missing. If you are one of these individuals, please visit the Stark Center on the 5th level of the North End Zone of DKR stadium the next time you visit the campus.

Ken Ehrig, mid -1960’s football player,

TLSN is a 501 (C) (3) helping qualifying former Longhorn student-athletes, managers, trainers, and their immediate families with temporary financial assistance. 

Approved by U.T. compliance, TLSN granted approximately $12,500 to Terry (Teapot) Collins to mitigate expenses incurred while he battled cancer. During radiation treatment, Terry lost his teeth, but with the help of TLSN and LSG, he is smiling again. 

As of this writing, Terry is moving back to his childhood home in San Angelo, Texas, to be closer to family and friends. The moving expenses, first and last month rent with a rental deposit, and some used furniture was purchased by TLSN, LSG, and some of Terry’s Longhorn friends. Terry’s site is at
